HealthQwest Canton is an outpatient drug treatment center for patients who are suffering from opioid addiction. The medication-assisted program (MAP) combines traditional drug counseling with medication, such as methadone, naltrexone, buprenorphine (Suboxone) or Vivitrol to help people recover from addiction. These medications reduce painful withdrawal symptoms so that our patients can focus on treating the root causes of their addiction.

The Certified Addiction Counselors at HealthQwest Canton understand that a patient’s personal history and life experiences will dictate the course of their recovery from opioid addiction. As such, we conduct a pre-admission evaluation to ensure that our outpatient rehab is a good match for the patient, with Suboxone intakes available by phone.

Our addiction professionals will use the results of the evaluation to select the appropriate medication – methadone, naltrexone, buprenorphine (Suboxone) or Vivitrol – and determine which individual therapy sessions, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and relapse prevention, would be a good fit.
