Recovery Works, Pinnacle Treatment Network, opened in late 2016. Recovery Works is a residential addiction treatment facility that focuses on drug and alcohol use.  The organization treats adults through inpatient stays and addresses the whole individual including physical, spiritual, emotional and psychological challenges. Recovery Works held an open house to reaffirm its commitment to the region on June 22, 2017.

“We are most excited that our new website offers “reserve a bed.” This means that people can simply go on our website and make a seamless reservation with us,” Mary Raleigh, Senior Vice President of Sales and Community Relations for Pinnacle Treatment Network, said.

“We are pleased to serve this community, especially as deaths from opioids are on the rise. The scourge of fentanyl-laced drugs across the region has made getting into treatment even more vital. Our open house reaffirmed to the public our long-term commitment to getting people into recovery,” Valerie Thorn, Executive Director of Recovery Works Merrillville said.

Recovery Works will continue to increase its involvement with Merrillville and surrounding communities. Many people travel about two hours to admit into residential facilities.

Recovery Works is currently involved with many community organizations including;

Local hospitals providing information about the facility (lunch and learns,) Lake County Substance Abuse Council, Porter County Substance Abuse Council, NIEAPA, partnering with Griffith Police Department, La Porte Police and Michigan City police for PAARI/Path Program, participating in “the Walk” Radio Show local Alpo Radio, Participating in Health and Wellness Fairs, Ford Health and Wellness Fair, Geminus Vendor Fair.
