    Located near Central Park on 21st Street between N St. and O St., our Bakersfield, CA  outpatient treatment program offers therapy and medication-assisted treatment to help our patients rebuild their lives after substance use issues such as oxycodone or heroin dependence.

    We first focus on stabilization and ensuring you have the tools to transition with medications such as methadone or suboxone (buprenorphine). These medications support you in your recovery and reduce the risk of relapse. With opioids, relapse can be particularly dangerous and lead to overdose. This is why medication-assisted treatment is the standard of care for this type of drug addiction.

    Our counseling includes cognitive behavioral therapy, which helps patients develop tools and resources to respond to life’s stresses and triggers.

    Expect a friendly atmosphere and specialized groups that take into consideration your specific needs. We offer a program for pregnant women as well.

    Treatment at our outpatient clinic may be covered by both private insurance and government insurance, such as Medi-Cal, Medicare, TriCare, and Cigna.
