Outpatient Treatment

The Aegis Bakersfield Columbus St. clinic is a small, yet mighty team. We provide addiction treatment for people struggling with Opioid use disorder using Suboxone or methadone. We offer group counseling services as well as individual counseling. Our counselors are well-educated in the field of mental health, with many of them currently in graduate school working towards becoming therapists in the community. In addition to our counselors, we also have an excellent medical staff that helps make the admission process smoother and creates a safe, supportive environment for all of our patients. Our clinic looks forward to helping serve our community to make Kern County a happier, healthier place.

    Our Bakersfield, California outpatient clinic offers addiction treatment for various programs for substance use disorders (SUDs) and alcohol use disorders (AUDs) as well as opioid use disorder. 

    Located on W. Columbus Street near Union Ave. in the Homoker Park neighborhood in Kern County, California, our outpatient treatment program and methadone clinic are also convenient to residents of Jefferson Park and Panorama Park. We are just down the street from the Kern County Museum.

    Medication-assisted treatment such as methadone and buprenorphine reduces the risk of overdose, decreases criminal behavior, increases time in treatment, and is clinically proven to be an effective treatment for substance use disorders.
