One of these programs is the partial hospitalization program or PHP. In this treatment program, participants attend treatment during the day and are able to sleep in the comfort of their own homes. PHPs’ level of care is one step down from residential treatment programs.

This type of program in addiction treatment is best suited for individuals who need the intensity, schedule, and rigor of an inpatient program but are unable or unwilling to live at the center during treatment. PHPs provide a full day of evidence-based therapy which may include individual, group, and family therapies. In addition, clients may take part in 12-step meetings and addiction education classes. The main difference is that PHPs allow you to go home in the evenings and attend to your responsibilities whether they be family, work, or school.

In addition, we offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) which includes methadone, buprenorphine (Suboxone), and Naltrexone (Vivitrol). 

The length of treatment varies by each individual’s needs but is determined by your biopsychosocial assessment, the input of your primary therapist and clinical staff, as well as the progress you make during your PHP at Pinnacle.
