At Chillicothe Treatment Services, our patients receive the best mental health and addiction treatment available. We offer effective, evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and trauma-informed care. We customize and tailor treatment plans based on each patient’s needs. Patients benefit from Anger Management groups, Grief/Loss Therapy, Life Skills training, Meditation Groups, Nutritional Counseling, and Vocational Counseling. In addition, our patients are enrolled in our Aftercare Monitoring and our Alumni Program. While receiving addiction treatment, patients can work to earn their GED and/or take college classes.

Chillicothe gets its name from the Shawnee Indian language and means “principal town.” Located along the Scioto River about 45 miles south of Columbus, Chillicothe, in Ross County, was Ohio’s first and third capital. The city is surrounded by farming communities and lies between the Scioto River and Paint Creek. Chillicothe is called the foothills of the Appalachians. Chillicothe is home to a branch of Ohio University and the 158-year-old continuously operating Majestic Theatre.

Near the Adena Mansion and Gardens Historic Site, our treatment center is less than 5 miles from Chillicothe VA Medical Center. We offer specialized treatment for military members and veterans and accept Veteran’s Administration Community Care Network (VA CCN) and Medicare.
