Adults with opioid use disorder are addicted to illegal drugs like heroin, synthetic opioids such as fentanyl, and prescription painkillers. MAT treatment utilizes Methadone, Buprenorphine/Suboxone, and Vivitrol to help control cravings and reduce the risks of relapse and overdose.
